Your source PDFs stay on your Mac.

App data

BatesProof reads only the PDF files and export folder you choose. The current build does not upload documents, require an account, overwrite a source PDF or include advertising trackers.

Plans and exports

Source paths are used in memory only to reopen the selected files. Portable CSV, JSON, Markdown, PDF and checksum evidence contains source names, page mappings and SHA-256 values without absolute local paths. Stamped copies are written only inside the folder you select.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No analytics or automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current build. A sample you voluntarily send to Shipmac will only be used to investigate the issue you reported.

Changes

This page will be updated if BatesProof adds an optional network feature, analytics or another third-party service.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
